Former Farmworker Makes Headlines
Linda Lee, former muck farmworker, Farmworker Association of Florida member, and Lake Apopka Farmworker Memorial Quilt Maker has been making news again. Her quest for justice for Lake Apopka former farmworkers and South Apopka was recently featured in North Florida's Gainesville Iguana. The article covers Linda's personal story and her reasons to stand against injustice.

For our Apopka Area supporters,
you can also read the Apopka Chief article that is out in print and includes a book review of Fed Up: The High Cost of Cheap Food! We are ecstatic that Linda Lee's story is getting such great attention! We can only hope that finding honor and dignity for former farmworkers can empower current farmworkers. Talking about past injustices, and acknowledging their effects brings light to injustices still faced today.
Thank you for your bravery Linda Lee!
