SPARC WORKDAY AT THE FARMWORKER ASSOCIATION'S OFFICE IN APOPKA

On Saturday, August 24th, the Farmworker Association of Florida served as a site host for SPARC Day (Service, Philanthropy, Activism, Rollins College), a service event organized by Rollins College as a way for new students to learn more about their community.

   17 students learned more about issues impacting farmworker communities from FWAF staff members, and then spent the morning working at the Apopka Community Garden, coordinated by the Big Potato Foundation.
