Senator Thompson has continued the effort started by Senator Siplin in the two previous years by putting a line item of $500,000 in the state budget for the local Apopka health clinic to provide health care to the former Lake Apopka farmworkers.
We are grateful to Senator Thompson for hearing our request and acting on it.
