Lake Apopka Farmworker Memorial Quilt gets some added publicity!

Edible Orlando, a community-based publication that promotes the local food, farms, and cuisine of Orlando, paid tribute to the Lake Apopka Farmworker Memorial Quilt! In the Fall 2011 edition, Edible Orlando published the story “Stories of Struggle, Square by Square” on their “Signing Off” page.  Edible Orlando is dedicated to the local community and those that put food on our tables every day.  Thank you Edible Orlando for your support of Lake Apopka Farmworkers and bringing to light the struggle and adversity that they continue to face!
